In Bioshock try waiting till the end to go backtracking. Right near the end you will gain some things that together make splicers completely ignore you unless you attack them. You'll know what they are after you start that part.

It's because the XBox brand is synonymous with videogames right now. Like RememberThe357 said, last gen it would have been "Playstations" before that it would have been "Nintendos."

I think what we should take away from this article is just that it's no longer true that PS3 has inferior versions. In the past the PS3 did get some bad ports, though how bad they were was really overstated, but now multi-plats are mostly the same with there being little differences here and there that prefer each version.

I just want to know the name of the motion controller so that people can stop calling it a "wand" or the other things people have called it, and the final design of the controller. Anything more than that is gravy.

More reviews just brings the average score closer to the "true" value (which in this case is an unknown). That means that the "more reviews factored in" argument would work both ways, and so cancel out. This article shows that PS3 no longer lags behind in quality of multi-plats, like some people believe. I don't think anyone should take it that PS3 versions are actually significantly better either though.

After all, everyone knows it's SALES that are the true determiner of quality, right?
/sarcasm

In all seriousness, this article proves that it is no longer true that PS3 versions are inferior. Now all multi-plats are virtually the same on both systems. You can find differences, but for every PS3 version with blurry textures there is a 360 version with pop-in. I once saw on Metacritic (though i haven't been able to find it again since) that any metascore differences less t...

I do think they need to work on getting the name out there more. It seems like every videogame commercial i see is a multiplatform game that has the XBox 360 logo come up at the end. To most people it looks like 360 is the only system to have any games.

Probably more people bought a PS3 for inFAMOUS than bought a 360 for Prototype.

But but but but but but but but... THE SALES. THE SALES!!! SAAAALES!!!!!!!!!!!

If sales equaled quality, Walmart would be a fashion boutique.

Because fanboys want to make this a 360 vs PS3 battle like everything else.

Try this: If you enjoy the games you play, then you win.

You are right. I misread KnaveX's comment and so replied to the wrong statement. The PSEye can read the 3D location of the motion controller. I guess i was saying that the PSEye itself cannot read depth, which is true, it depends upon the use of the controller part, but i didn't say it very well and it may not have been a proper comparison. Let me say this: Natal is better with the possibilities it opens up, Sony's motion Controller is better with precision and responsiveness.

Yeah, Microsoft has more of a vision for it thanks to the post-Wii perspective they can have now that Sony didn't have five years ago. Microsoft also has been really good at marketing themselves. I said once before: Microsoft could put a dress on a pig and get it elected Prom Queen.

Owning a PS3 doesn't mean you're not acting like a fanboy. It's what you said that is making you look immature. It was crass and uncalled-for.

The z-cam that detects depth is something that Sony's system will not be able to do because it doesn't have the hardware. You guys are right, though, that most of what Natal does, especially the stuff that people seem most excited about, either can already be done by the PSEye, or can be done with software. All that and without the input lag that Natal appeared to have. Natal does have some neat possibilities, though, even if they are overstated by some people (and downplayed by others). ...

Because after the Eyetoy and the lukewarm reception it got, Sony underestimated the market for this sort of thing. The video that someone posted above shows that Sony, five years ago, had been working with the z-cam that Natal uses, but they passed it up. I think Microsoft just has more of a vision for this.

He is just too perfect for that role. I also think Jewel Staite would be a great choice to play Elena.

firefly is one of the best shows i've ever watched. It's just amazing the way everything gels together. The dialog was really good, the casting, the mix of humor and action and drama...

Fox terribly mismanaged it though, showing episodes out of order, preempting episodes, not promoting it. Tragic loss.

Serenity barely made back its money only after the DVD release, so no chance of a sequel unfortunately (but should there be one without Wash?).

It doesn't mention Natal, but this would be perfect for all of the motion control systems. The "explorer" camera mode would be used with the controller), then combat could use the motion controls for aiming. This solves the problem of moving around in game while having to be facing the TV screen, but also incorporates the precision and/or immersiveness of the motion control systems. Or it could just be how the camera is going to work for Halo (is it ODST that's rumored to be sand...

Imagine an FPS where you control it like normal most of the time, but when you enter "scope view" it changes to the motion controls for more quick precision like was shown in that E3 demo. It would actually work kind of like the motion controls for the sniper rifle in Killzone 2, but with a wider range of motion and better precision. Since scope view only gets used for short times, that would negate the problem of having to be facing the TV when you turn in-game. Patch Killzone 2...
